Drs. Shirin Hooshmand and Mark Kern Awarded the Almond Board of California Grant

Congratulations to Drs. Shirin Hooshmand and Mark Kern for being awarded a grant from the Almond Board of California. For their research entitled: Exploring the Role of Almonds in Enhancing Immune Strength. Their work will study the effects of daily almond consumption on biochemical and physiological indicators of immune health to help better understand infections and immune function/inflammation.
