Dr. Harsimran Baweja featured by NBC San Diego

Resident mad scientist Dr. Harsimran Baweja was recently interviewed by NBC San Diego on the use of immersive technology in his classrooms. Dr. Baweja is an early pioneer of virtual reality at SDSU and has been using immersive technology in his research lab and classrooms since 2014. SDSU has been leveraging the use of immersive technologies to enhance the teaching experience in its classrooms long before the pandemic. Dr. Baweja is the SDSU Instructional Technology Services Faculty Fellow for Immersive Learning. In this capacity, he works with a team of professors and instructional technology leaders and specialists on campus to integrate immersive technology into the curriculum and to help SDSU faculty with using and implementing this technology in their courses and programs.
