Foods and Nutrition Lecturer Brenda O’Day received the California Academy Distinguished Service Award. She was recognized for her dedication and passion for teaching the next generation of nutrition professionals. Through her diligent service to the field and her students, she was awarded this distinguished award. She served as San Diego District President and is currently serving as Vice President of Public Policy for the California Academy of Nutrition Executive Board (in her second term). Brenda teaches NUTR 407 Medical Nutrition Therapy I Labs, NUTR 510 Nutrition Education and Community Course, and is involved in our Didactic Program in Dietetics. We congratulate her on such a great honor!
