Bio
Dr. Jeni Green is an Assistant Professor in the School of Exercise and Nutritional Sciences at San Diego State University and Director of the Mind-Body and Wellbeing Lab. Her research focuses on developing and evaluating behavioral interventions that integrate mind-body practices, physical activity, and digital health to improve mental and physical well-being. A central focus of her work is leveraging technology to develop scalable and accessible approaches to health promotion, particularly among populations that have historically experienced disparities in health and access to care.
Dr. Green’s work spans maternal health, mental well-being, and health behavior change. She uses mixed-methods, user-centered, and community-engaged approaches to design interventions that are responsive to the needs and experiences of the populations they are intended to serve. She also collaborates with digital health companies, healthcare systems, and community organizations to translate behavioral science into evidence-based digital health solutions.
