Interests
My research investigates the factors contributing to aberrant decision-making and reduced motivation for physical activity and movement in individuals with neurological disorders. I am particularly interested in how fatigue shapes both how we move and how we choose to move. By integrating approaches from decision neuroscience (e.g., fMRI, computational modeling), biomechanics (gait analysis, muscle activity), and exercise science (energetics), my work aims to uncover the neurobiological mechanisms driving fatigue-related movement and decision-making impairments. Ultimately, this research aims to inform clinicians and healthcare providers in identifying the root causes of pathological fatigue and designing mechanism based, personalized interventions to improve mobility and quality of life.
