Michelle Cross, a second-year SDSU student, majoring in Criminal Justice and SDSU Adapted Athletics athlete, was recently named to the 2019 U.S. Paralympics Track & Field World Junior Championships Team. She is one of 20 athletes who will represent team USA in Nottwil Switzerland from August 1st-4th; she will be running the 100m. It is a competition where young athletes, between the ages of 14-19, compete at an international competition in preparation of a successful journey to joining the national team and competing at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games. Michelle is making her return after competing at Nattwil in 2017. She has been making an excellent impact for SDSU Adapted Athletics with winning gold at the Desert Challenge World Para Athletics Grand Prix at Phoenix, AZ back in May. We wish her the best of luck at the Junior World Games!
