The Aztec Adaptive Sports Showcase is a free event, open to everyone. The Showcase starts at 7:00 PM on Friday, January 26th, at the SDSU Student Union Courtyard, with a performance by the Rollettes, a wheelchair dance team, and a screening of the award-winning documentary, “The Rebound.” The screening will be hosted by California-native and 13-time U.S. Paralympian medalist, David Kiley.

Then, on Saturday, January 27th, from 10:00AM-1:00 PM at SDSU’s Peterson Gym 152, the Showcase will feature high-level competition by elite athletes, including U.S. Paralympic athletes, competing in wheelchair basketball, sitting volleyball, and wheelchair tennis. The wheelchair basketball demonstration includes members of the ABC Medical All-Star team, comprised of former University of Alabama Women’s Wheelchair Basketball players who have won five national championships since 2009.
