
Graduate student Hedaya Rizeq received the President’s Award for her presentation Let’s talk about secs: Gender differences in distracted driving at the Student Research Symposium (SRS) last Friday. We also congratulate her mentor, Dr. Sim Baweja.
In addition to a $500 award, Hedaya will now represent us at the 31st Annual California State University Student Research Competition to be held on April 28-29, 2017, at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Hedaya is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Kinesiology, Applied Movement Sciences.
