SDSU Adaptive Fitness Clinic: Transforming Clients and Training Aztecs

December 7, 2016

fitness clinic participantsThe SDSU Adaptive Fitness Clinic is a community outreach program offered through the School of Exercise and Nutritional Sciences at SDSU, which provides fitness services to individuals of all ages living with a range of disabilities.  The Clinic also serves as an educational experience for SDSU Kinesiology students, including those majoring in pre-physical therapy and fitness specialist emphasis.  Students work under the guidance of faculty and staff to work directly with the clients on a variety of exercises and activities.

In order to help raise funds for the clinic, the SDSU Adaptive Fitness Clinic has begun their second SDSU STRIVE campaign. SDSU STRIVE is the university’s first crowdfunding website, which provides an opportunity for the SDSU community to fulfill fundraising initiatives.

To learn more about their campaign, please visit the SDSU Adaptive Fitness Clinic’s STRIVE webpage.
