Ethics, Empathy, and Equity. These are not simply words but what we espouse every single day - clinically, academically, and morally.
The MSAT has two scholarships students will be able to apply for once enrolled in the program.
1. For the 2023-2024 academic year, the Robert Bowers, Sr. Scholarship will be active for MSAT students who are also active members of the Future Athletic Trainers Society (FATS). This scholarship involves a competitive application process.
2. For the 2024-2025 academic year, we will have an additional scholarship available for current MSAT students. It is the Voight-Moore Scholarship. This scholarship also involves a competitive application process.
3. Additionally, MSAT students are eligible to apply for scholarship opportunities offered through the NATA and FWATA.
For the second immersive clinical experience, yes, we encourage students to broaden their experiences. If there is a particular clinical setting you want to pursue, we will support that.
Yes. Our students have completed rotations at Camp Pendleton with Wounded Warriors. Additionally, our students are required to complete a rotation with the Warrior Athlete Reconditioning Program at Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD). The Marine School of Infantry - East at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina has also been an immersive internship site.
