DOCTOR OF PHYSICAL THERAPY PROGRAM
FULL-TIME FACULTY POSITION FOR 2021
MUSCULOSKELETAL ASSESSMENT & MANAGEMENT
A full-time clinical faculty position at the lecturer rank to begin Fall 2021 in the San Diego State University Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program. Seeking an applicant with expertise in Musculoskeletal Assessment & Management.
The position will require teaching graduate courses in musculoskeletal management and/or related areas. An earned Doctorate in Physical Therapy is required. Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly recommended: orthopedics, sports medicine, kinesiology, therapeutic exercise, biomechanics, and differential diagnosis or closely related area. Previous teaching experience in the physical therapy setting, and board certification in a related specialty area (e.g., OCS, SCS, GCS, PCS) are desirable.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Engage in university, community, and professional service.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: A graduate from an accredited physical therapy program. Eligible for licensure to practice physical therapy in California.
SALARY: Commensurate with credentials and experience.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Accredited by CAPTE, the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program is located in the School of Exercise and Nutritional Sciences.
